Album Notes

This is MC Unique's raw 2nd album, "The King Of Linguistics."

In its review of MC Unique, Listen.com writes, "British emcee throws down impressive battle rhymes and commentary on the state of the game. Styles run the gamut from rugged and hardcore to jazzy and mellow, rocking metaphor-packed braggadocio over some funky instrumentals."

That was in response to MC Unique's self-produced debut album, "Baptizm of Fire," in 2000, which was well received by the Underground audience.

One track on 'Baptism Of Fire' was of particular note- the underground anthem 'Worldwide'. This joined together one of the UKs finest with one of the West Coast underground's finest - "B. Down". It received excellent reviews from fans and reviewers alike, and was awarded the accolade of being garageband.com's 'SONG OF THE MONTH'.

Unique was soon invited to be part of the Rap Junkie Records movement. Unique and B. Down collaborated on 3 tracks, 'Worldwide 2' the follow up the smash hit original, 'Lyrical Combat' and 'Congriz Crew International' with Unique also handling production duties on all of these (the last one co-produced with B. Down). The compilation was released in October 2001, and was named one of the "Best of the Best Independent New Releases" by Murder Dog Magazine.
