“A real gem on this release is the opening track ‘A Little Chemistry’ which just spells AOR big time across it.”
- Carsten Nielsen, Rockheads Records, DENMARK
“...We're talking about a genius at work here and it's a pleasure to salute him with a high rating”
- Urban "Wally" Wallstrom, AOR-Europe!, SWEDEN
“Where’s Everybody Gone?’ is a passage through the peaceful clime of a ballad led by acoustic guitar...very sweet and emotive.”
- Spulit, Prog-PT, PORTUGAL
“...A wide variety of short, yet always different vocal and instrumental parts that seem to change each other more frequently than a kaleidoscope.”
- Vitaly Meshnikov, Progressor, UZBEKISTAN
“Matthew should be very proud of this EP as it is a work of true beauty and style.”
- Robbie Evans, Powerplay Magazine, UK
“Matthew D. Guarnere stands forth as one of the most original artists I have heard in awhile. It’s hard to believe this guy is not yet signed. If there is any justice, he will be soon.”
- Bjørnar Bevolden, Prog Power, NORWAY
“M.D.G. plays it Wembley big with sonics that scrape the sky...I’m sure it has a lot to do with singer Matthew D. Guarnere’s 60-octave vocal range. I mean, holy s***!”
- Frank DeBlase, WBZA radio, USA
“Excellent and indispensable work, highly recommendable...”
- Carlos Vaz Ferreira, Progressive Rock & Progressive Metal, BRAZIL
“It would seem easy to produce commercial pop-rock CDs nowadays, yet often these products are too superficial. As the famous saying goes: ‘here today, gone tomorrow’...this does not apply to Matthew D. Guarnere.”
- Roberto Guarnieri, Metal Shock, ITALY
“Elevates himself from the mainstream music mass pudding! ”
- Carsten Baar, Hard Line Magazine, GERMANY
“With a last name like this, the music couldn't be bad, could it?”
- Dmitry M. Epstein, DME Music, ISRAEL

Distilled Essence of The Good Stuff
author: Jean-Claude D.
Matthew D. Guarnere's music is everything that you loved about 70s melodic rock, updated for today. Melodies and lyrics are complex, intelligent and never derivative, and this is a voice I will never tire of. Good, solid and highly enjoyable music, I look forward to more recordings by MDG.
