Probably the most unique force on the Long Island music scene, Dee Harris has been playing guitar and performing for over 30 years. Anything with strings is fair game for Dee, he is an artist on a quest for truth and originality in everything he does. His vast knowledge of blues music and his interpretation of all it's styles guarantee a fresh and innovative approach to each performance.

Mike Joos is the man behind the kit. Literally the heart of the band, his inspired playing drives the Mean Blue Spirit. He has been called "The Charlie Watts of the Long Island/ NY-Metro Area".

Tom Cavanagh on bass and Jared Eliosef on keys, can both be described as prodigys. Tom Cavanagh is an accomplished musician, songwriter and producer. When the need for a bassist opened up in the Mean Blue Spirit, Tom didn't have to play a note; just expressing interest in the project was enough for the other band members. Jared Eliosef is clearly proof that music and the language it speaks is ageless: don't let his youthful appearance make you think he's anything less than what he is: a masterful and soulful keyboard player. His voice within the band is loud and clear; talent, versatility and passion shine through when he plays.

Luke Alvino has been a fixture on the Long Island music scene for the last 10 years. A true blues vocalist who's singing voice is an instrument in itself, he plays harmonica from his heart and soul. Luke always gives his all onstage, whether his audience is 2 or 200. When you see him perform, you will know that you are seeing a blues original.
