Album Notes

Since its inception Mean Molly’s Trio has come out swinging, shaking the Ogden music scene to its core and demanding an open ear and a mobbing dance floor wherever they go. Serving up a precocious blend of hometown swagger with a stupid amount of sincerity, they’re sure to get you on your feet!

While Mark Young (bass) and Clint Stanger (drums) set the stage with a straight up impressive sense of rhythm (and lavish good looks) Timm Gehrett (guitar, vocals) sets in with a rasping thunder and conviction in his voice like you’ve not heard before. Then without hesitation he sticks it to the crowd with a one handed solo, hangs his fedora on the microphone, and proceeds to blister any and all expectations to a crisp!

Salt Lake's own SLUG Magazine raves, "MMT's sound is something sort of like rockabilly, blues, garage rock and surf rock, blended together. Give the CD a listen and you'll know why my eardrums are screaming from the pain of Things I See."

City Weekly Magazine boasts, "vocalist Timm Gehrett's voice gets the party raging, sounding as if ravaged by years of hard liquor and sword swallowing, his delivery is fit for Anytown USA's shadiest biker-bar."

Garage Rock at it's Finest
author: Single Finger
This album has all the elements of modern garage rock and dirty as hell blues. It's one of those albums that kind of grows on you though, it may not stand up and slap you in the face on the first spin. But I guarantee you'll be tapping your toes and humming along with the catchier dance numbers in no time. Buy it man, you won't regret it!

Great album, everything i thought it would be
author: Garrett
This album is very good, way worth buying. It sounds amazing, the only negative comment sound wise is that the voice is a bit overpowering, but in some songs that is infact a positive. Listening to the album just makes you want to get up and dance, or just play air guitar to the amazing bluesy guitar, deep bass and power drums.
