Disappointing

About half of this CD is excellent for Star Wars fans, but does not sound like typical MECO. The other half sounds like a children's record, so it's difficult to take too seriously.
I am a Star Wars fan though, so I must admit to liking this CD.

This cd wasn't what I was hoping for.Being a MECO fan since 1977 I never felt anything could top the original Meco Monardo,Harold Wheeler,Tony Bongiovi masterpieces that were hits.I have listened to this disc over a few times and it kind of grows on me."Boogie Wookie" is a neat track with a cool bass line.Maybe one day a new smash sci-fi movie will release and Meco will bring a lot of those original producers and session players back togeher again for a smash hit ......hey I can dream!

""STAR WARS PARTY BY MECO"
author: Pete S
Wow! I just listened to Meco's Star Wars Party and it is smoking!! None of those old-fashioned instrumentals here. All ten songs are either vocals or characters rapping to the beat. My favorites are "I Am Your Father" in which Vader tells Luke the awful truth about himself - "Live Your Life" where we are told that if we live our lives like a Jedi, then the Force will be with us! - and how could you not love those Wookiees bogeying on down with Chewie making it funky on "Boogie Wookiee"? Five stars!!!
