Can you recall the feeling of hope? This is Media Orphan. Longing for unrequited love, there’s a feeling of painful innocence in lead singer Richard Petteys voice that gently tugs at your heart like a child flying a kite on a blustery day. Run as fast as you want, you can’t escape that real-good-feel-good-in-love sound of “Hold On”. Take off running and bop around with these loveable waifs to “Don’t Hate You” Silhouette’s third track. Media Orphan’s approaching power-pop blend is reminiscent of the legendary Shoes for their albums name sake.

In “Hero”, guitarist and lead song writer Eddie Negrete hold’s you at bay with his head nodding fuzzy guitar, as the Pale Saints chant “Come back to me… there is no day until you come back to me.” Dare to care again… give “When We Got Close” a chance to warm that corner of your heart you so gently tucked away that lonely and fateful day.
