Album Notes

Dan J. Schulte has composed EM for over 20 years mainly inspired by three basic genres; fantasy, sci-fi and horror. There is a symbiosis of genre inspiration that forms a variety of sound range from cinematic/ambient themes to driving sequencer/drum rhythms which are influenced by some of the greatest pioneers in progressive electronic music history (Goblin, John Carpenter, Tangerine Dream). War of the Dead represents a culmination of horrific inspiration from the masters of horror; John Carpenter, Don Coscarelli and George Romero.
