Hard Rock & Metal listeners have compared MEDIUM to a musical mix of Tool, A Perfect Circle, Danzig, Black Sabbath, early Soundgarden and a dose of Sonic Youth... and the vocals to Lisa Gerrard (4-AD), Grace Slick and Siouxsie Sioux. Vocals sound like: Dark cabaret-like characterizations, cut-up, minimalistic inverted melodies, outbusts of raw emotionalism that border on mystical incantation, classical melodramatic theatrics, gothic romanticism and avant-garde dramatics.

MEDIUM is a delicate musical balance of Frankenstein-like proportions; oversized - awkward beauty that's hauntingly seductive and eerily romantic, mortally tragic yet very awakened, vivid and alive. "Otherworld" confronts afflictions of the mind that cripple authenticity and purity. The songs hover above shrouds of human delusion (dualistic thinking and destructive behaviors) like a omnipotent presence violently whispering a meditation-like prayer into the ear of the emotionally wounded, then dives beneath to surface to subdue emotionally charged vapors of denial, rejection, fear, repression, and rage. The outcome...surrender, acceptance, transformation and resolve.

CURRENT PROJECT NEWS...

I'm in pre-production for 2 new videos form my new vocal demo "Lepers of Wisdom". I just finished recording the new vocal demo on Labor Day Weekend 2007. This time I focused on music that leans more towards down-tempo, trip-hop, surreal and cinematic electronica. With the inspiration of some of my favorite composers and musical artists laying the ground work for my vocal dubs. I'll be exploring musical landscapes that have inspired me over the years.
