Album Notes

With a homebase on the North Carolina coast and a history rooted in the tradition of late night family jams, Medusa Stone's musical prowess goes from one end of the musical spectrum to the other. These influences range from taditional blues to full blown psychedelia, all the way to rock and roll and back. They have managed to fuse the sound of late 60's England and mid 70's American rock with the basics of blues running the show. What you have then is a sound both refreshing and refined.

Really good CD. I'll definitely seek out more by Medusa Stone. Although they don't really sound like them, at times I got a bit of a "Great White" vibe -- in a good way -- when their songs were more bluesy-rock. Very glad to have purchased this.
