Great christmas gift!

I found this great review on Wildy´s World by Wildy haskell. He said:
Jeff Meegan’s “Christmas Tree” is a hip and vibrantly jazzy original that riffs on structure of the classic “O
Christmas Tree”. Rather than sounding derivative or recycled, Meegan is utterly fresh in his approach,
and updates the spirit of the classic for the modern age. His voice has the smooth, cool sound that
Michael Buble aspires to, and Meegan has that rare gift for making you feel like he’s singing to you and you alone.
"What Child Is This"
Meegan spices up a mellow arrangement of the classic hymn with a light dance beat. Whether or not
you’re sold on the rhythm section, Meegan’s voice is in its prime here, invoking thoughts of a young
Barry Manilow. It’s a voice you could sit and listen to all day long

Bring them home - Beautifully translated into music!

Written by Wildy Haskell - contributor for Wildy's World - this review is spot on!
Jeff Meegan does the impossible. He sings a song of sentiment that has run to cliché due to its enduring need, and turns it into a lyric and powerful performance that is destined to become a classic. Sung with the atmosphere of a prayer, “Bring Him Home” soars to the rafters and settles on your heart with that blend of joy and regret that only seems appropriate at the holidays.

What Child Is This - Beautiful Song!
author: Jon Ostrow
This is such a wonderful holiday song. I'd write a long-winded review about how great of job Jeff has done here, but I found a review from the editor-in-chief of Guitar International Magazine (actually thats how I found this song) who says it better than I ever could myself: 'As an artist that likes to mix in different influences to his tunes, Jeff Meegan brings a dance-like drum beat to the classic folk song “What Child Is This,” often referred to by its other name “Greensleeves.” The vocals may be smooth and soaring at times, but the energetic drum beat keeps heads bobbing as the vocalist works his way through one of the most played songs of the holiday season. The result is a fresh take on a classic track, and a welcome addition to the holiday playlist.'

Written with an interesting arrangement of strings, piano, guitar and woodwinds, all supporting the main melody which is sung by Meegan, “Bring Them Home,” is a heartfelt musical tale of family at the holidays. Using musical cues, such as the rising strings and vocal-instrument connections on key words, the song brings to life what many families feel at this time of year, a yearning for a loved one living far away. With a well-written musical arrangement and nicely penned lyrics this song will touch the heart of anyone who has been apart from a family member during the holiday season.
