Ahh, Yes. Straight from the vast fields of Chicago, prepared to rock your socks off at a drop of the highest hat, it's Walter Meego! Walter is a band of three young men on a musical mission, armed and ready to dance their collective way into your hearts. Open Up!
Their sound espouses rock, electro, IDM and down tempo in a genre-imploding creation of synth-pop proportions. there is a strong pop element, with softly strummed electric guitar added to scratching/beats and urgent vocal delivery.

Recently featured as a notable up-and-coming local act by UR Chicago magazine and ushering crowds in to Chicago nightspots like Double Door, Subterranean, Schubas, Sonotheque, and the Hideout, Walter Meego has quickly created a solid following.

With a level of enthusiasm that draws comparison to the early days of New Order, sounds that may recall Prefuse 73 or Disco Inferno and a level of songwriting sincerity that brings to mind any number of their Chicago peers, Walter Meego are making extraordinary music of confidence and pose.

The band are prepared to embark on both national & international dates in the coming year. They also hope to see their vinyl getting spun in the discoteque, cuz the beats are phat and juicy!
