Megaphone, consisting of former members of other successful national and local bands, is the Orlando super group. Founding member, rhythm guitarist and lead vocalist, Matt Bloodwell, was the drummer for Orlando band Precious before he started working on megaphone. Lead guitarist, Paul Smith who once toured with 7 mary 3, joined the band after coming off the road with Von Ray in support of their debut album on Electra Records. Drummer, Matt Brown, was recently in 3AE signed to RCA records. And bass player, James Woodrich, toured extensively with Orlando favorites My Hotel Year (Dog House Records). "When I began writing these tunes Matt, Paul and James were exactly the guys I had in mind. Some how, all of them were available at the same time and it was just the kind of vibe they were looking for. I love when a plan comes together"
