Album Notes

Meghan Andrews, singer/songwriter Meghan is the daughter of a Classical, Jazz and Rock/Pop composer/arranger, and a Jazz vocalist. Her experience performing began at the tender age of nine when she started her career as a jingle singer. Meg was a studio singer for much of her young life, while pursuing her classical training at home and eventually at New York City's Music and Art High School. She has played some of the city's most frequented venues such as "The Bottom Line" and "CBGB's." While Meghan is primarily a solo artist, she has also collaborated on a number of albums over the last five years, and recently her original song "Jaikara" was used in the film "The Road to Logo," a documentary about Aids in the media. Meg is a twenty-something artist with a multi-generational appeal, combining her passion for writing and performing music in a power-packed program of original songs. She invites the listener along on a personal journey into her heart and mind in her debut CD, "Center of Gravity."
