Album Notes

Several years ago I played Patsy Cline in the musical "Always...Patsy Cline". I had the time of my life playing a little bit of hers.. I received (she said proudly) wonderful reviews (thank you Chicago Tribune and Chicago Sun Times) as well as a Joseph Jefferson Award nomination. I fell in love with those songs and discovered for myself why people are rarely on the fence when it comes to Patsy. Folks are downright passionate about her. Now, I'm one of them.

I don't know of any other profession where the people in it want to help you achieve the dream of your heart. Well, the music world and its inhabitants is full of them.

I took this idea to my dear friend and producer Steve Rashid and my Maestro brother Don Stiernberg and they, without dropping a beat said yes! Oh, did I mention that I was "financially challenged" at the time, and that if it had cost a nickel to get to the moon, I'd be stayin' home? And they still said yes. Thanks you guys.

I loved making this record for a couple reasons.: 1. I got to up my endorphin level by spending time with two of my favorite men on the planet, 2. I got to sing to Don's remarkable playing 3. THESE SONGS!!! And last but not least, 4. Here finally!! For all those wonderfully pesty people who love and support me and REALLY wanted to hear these. I love you all!
