**Introducing** Evangelist Melissa V. Leon is a native of St.
Petersburg, Florida. She is the youngest of three children and the
daughter of Evangelist Diane Joseph. She is a graduate of Florida
Agricultural and Mechanical University with a Bachelor of Science
degree in Journalism and a Master of Education degree in Mental Health
Counseling and Counselor Education. She is an Adjunct Professor at
Florida A&M University, where she teaches News Writing and Reporting
and Mass Media Methods in the School of Journalism and Graphic
Communication. Evangelist Leon is a talented scholar, teacher,
preacher, songwriter, editor and former newspaper reporter, who has
over 25 years writing experience. She is the wife of Antonio L. Leon
and the mother of three children, Sharita DeVonne, Cherrise Danielle
and Christopher LaMar.

She is also a woman of great faith, who loves God and others. Her deep-
rooted faith in God and passion for writing has prompted her to
compile her poetic works with those of friend and former business
associate, Kimberly B. Crews. The poems were inspired by God and were
written under the complete direction of the Holy Spirit and like,
God’s anointing, literally "poured" from her spirit and her soul and
onto the pages of an anointed book called "Divine Revelations."

She is a member of Life Deliverance Ministries, in Tallahassee,
Florida, where Lorenzo Watkins, III is her pastor. Evangelist Leon has
many ministry talents that include church administration, writing and
implementing Sunday school curriculum and production and graphic
design of books, programs and other ministry-related items. She is an
anointed teacher, preacher and carrier of the gospel of Christ. She
also has a God-given gift of healing and has been used by God to heal
many of their infirmities and afflictions. Her friendly, pleasant,
comforting, and nurturing spirit has assisted her in serving as a
mentor and role model to hundreds of Tallahassee teens, college
students and young adults.
