Ah.... the second CD.

I’m learning that making music and putting out CD’s is like capturing a bit of myself and my experiences, almost like a journal. I can see the growth personally and musically from Simple Life. It’s funny for me to compare the two different albums. To look back at five years and see how far I have come in just about every aspect of my life. Not that one period of time is better than the other, because I had to be “there” to get “here”. Sometimes it’s all about just being ok with whatever comes your way. I think a lot of this CD for me is the growth of just that, being ok and proud with who I am and where I’m at in this stage of my life. It can be a struggle sometimes to stick with it and keep pushing, never really knowing exactly how it’s all going to turn out. Isn’t that just the point though, you got to just keep putting one foot in front of the other and doing what you do. Baby steps until you look back and see how far you’ve come.
