From the busy city of Youngstown, Ohio, Mello Dee (half of the '07 OHHA Nominated hip hop duo known as Da Kreek), presents his solo debut album, ABOVE AVERAGE.

After the successful release of Da Kreek's "Tinted Stanzas" album, and the "LIVE: in the game" mixtape, Mello Dee has ventured into producing his solo album.

Above Average displays the raw lyricism that Mello Dee is known for over various tracks such as "Next Level", "Greatness", and "Don't You Know". He displays his creativity with mind-blowing tracks like "Who Do You Think You Is?" and he also manages to keep listeners bouncing with songs like "Stay Fresh" and "Steady Hating".

His smooth flow graces beats of all varieties on the album, from gritty bangers and bouncy party tracks, to mellow rhythms and melodic chords. Producing a very versitile, yet thought provoking album, Mello Dee proves that his emceeing and producctions skills are just as the title indicates - Above Average.
