Album Notes

Featuring a lineup of seasoned professionals, crack musicians and the songwriting genius of Randy Leiner, The Melroys are one the hippest and most accomplished bands to rise ourt of the St.Louis/midwest music scene in quite a while. Reminiscent of the Bottlerockets with a bit more of a melodic tone this band is poised for big things.
At the 95North, the bands record company, they are affectionally dubbed "Beatlebilly" because of the country sound with the British Invasion-like pop delivery. Bassist Gregg Hopkins and drummer Mike Enderle, a rhythm section of immense talent and over 20 years of tandem supoport.
Jordan Leiner reminds you instantly of a young Elvis Presley with guitar licks of a 30 year pro....a star to be!
The Melroys represent all that is good, fun and the bright future of Americana Music. As Vintage Guitar magazine put it:"...this CD has more hooks and bridges than an erector set, the disc moves from one catchy tune to the another..."
The Melroys is a great collection of fun, upbeat, stay in your head music.
