Hello my name is Melvin John and I belong to the Plains Cree Tribe of Northern Alberta, Canada. I was inspiried to do this Album by all those fans throughout our performances whom where asking for our Album before Albums where cool and so I decided it was about time to record some of our songs. We compose our own music and we have selected some prized songs from our selection for your listening enjoyment. . We want to share our music to the world and wellcome you to become fans of our music.

EAGLE 1 HAS LANDED: is a COMPILATION ALBUM CD of modern and traditional music styles featured.

We welcome you to listen to our music and become fans of our compilation Album that features song from Pow Wow and Round Dance beat. You will listen to songs that combine bothe traditional and contemperary dance styles taken from Native Dance tradition. We are a Native Family Dance Troupe from Canada whom get together and perform and present our traditions to the world. We were fortunant to have traveled to these Countries and visit indiginous People accross the World (Paris, Italy, Venus, Germany, Switzerland, New Zealand, Australia, Mexico City, Equador, and locally United States and Canada) and enjoyed the many indigenous peoples sounds and traditions.

We are a small independant music production company based on a "Indian Reserve" in. Northern Alberta. I have choosen to let our music "speak" for it's self. We incorporate both traditional and contempary music, based on Cree Cultural Music. Songs sung in the Pow Wow and Round Dance Tradition. Pow Wow's and Round Dance Music are community based dance traditions and are both culturally enjoyed by many First Nations Communities for "Well Being" and "Wellness".

SEASONAL DANCES: Please sit and listen to the sweet melodies of the traditional sounds of the the "Pow Wow song", traditionally danced in the summer months because of the warm weather and long summer nights on the open plains. Traditionally the "Round Dance", is danced in the winter months and held indoors because of the long cold nights. Both of these dance styles are fast becoming favorite ” pass times” for many INDIAN COMMUNITIES, in fact, all over Indian Country.
