Album Notes

I was born in Brooklyn, New York, but was raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. It was in New Orleans where the jazz in my heart was born. My musical experience began on the drums at the tender age of twelve, but my soul called me to blow my horn. So I picked up a trumpet and utilized the music that was in my hear teaching myself how to play. New Orleans was the perfect city for a jazz musician so the skills I mastered from gigging in different joints on Bourbon Street and around The French Quarters brought me to where I am today as a multidimensional musician and producer. My first cd, "The Journey" is a showcase of my talents, not just a trumpet player, but as a producer, arranger, writer and studio engineer.
