Musician's Exchange Magazine describes Mel White as "an excellent pianist" who displays in her instrumental music "a flair for letting her innermost feelings flow through her fingertips". This music is often used for meditation, yoga classes, LaMaze classes and just to calm down and de-stress (in the workplace, at home). Several songs have been used for short-subject films and even for "phone-Muzak-on-hold". "House On The Hill" was inspired by the book of the same name by Judith Kelman.
