Album Notes

The sound of Men In My Head is a mix of alternative rock and funk, with hints of blues and soul sprinkled in. Influences include all the classic bands that rocked the world over the years including artists such as Bruce Springsteen, Eric Clapton, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Beck, and the Killers. Front man, guitarist, and songwriter Eddie Gindi creates songs about life’s journey, relationships, happiness, sadness, challenges faced, and dreams not yet realized. For these rock aficionado’s, writing songs and playing original tunes is the ultimate satisfaction. As Eddie Gindi elegantly puts it, “There is no better feeling from when I first have an idea about a new song to when the band plays it for the first time and it comes to life.”

Always committed to delivering the best music possible to touch their fans, Men In My Head hope that their songs leave a lasting impression. “That’s the idea-- if we can touch someone’s heart and mind when they hear our music, if they start to dance and feel the vibe… its all we need to keep us playing,” explains Eddie.

Now, with the help of SkyeLab Music Group and producer Arty Skye, Men In My Head have released their new self-titled album in August 2010. Despite the fresh release, Men In My Head are proving that they are one of the hardest working bands in town by nearly wrapping up the writing process for their follow-up album, with an expected due date of January next year. Fans can purchase the latest release on all popular digital retailers such as iTunes and Napster, with physical albums soon available on CD Baby and around local stores in New York City.
