Mercury Waters Biography

Long since past are the days of the legendary. Most modern music is passive, lifeless, and will not be remembered. Few are those who seek to make a mark. Added to this list of visionaries is...

Mercury Waters

With a purpose to bring the music from himself, Mercury Waters brings about a more personal and integrity marred sound. A product of the Washington D.C. metro area, Mercury Waters' music can be best described as wizardry. A mixture of revealing and complex lyrical imagery, with a no holds barred, anything goes production theme. Crediting musical influences from swamp-water blues to modern jungle and broken beat rhythms, Mercury Waters paints pictures on a sound canvas too bright and bold to be denied.

I am a big fan of Mercury Waters. I first heard a song of his on a compilation I copped from Itunes. Then, I found him posting on the Day By Day web site, which is the label I am signed to. When I found this project on CD Baby I had to get it. He is excellent. I am eager to hear the next project, which I am still waiting for. He is very talented and deserves credit for speaking truth in his rhymes! Big Up Merc!!!
