The second release from UK band Mermaid Kiss.

Following the release of their debut 'The Mermaid Kiss Album' in 2003 (http://cdbaby.com/cd/mermaid), 'Salt On Skin'is a 7 song mini-album from UK based Mermaid Kiss. Their critically acclaimed new album 'Etarlis' was released in June 2007 (http://cdbaby.com/cd/mermaid3) and both Kate Belcher and Evelyn Downing have received "Best Female Vocal Performance Awards for 2007" for their work on that album.

It hardly seems fair that in a world that suffers from a dearth of fabulous vocalists, Mermaid Kiss is hording three of them for themselves. I would complain if the band didn't take full advantage of those talents with strong songs and near-perfect production. But they do exactly that."

This EP is in a different league. I like everything about this on a first listen which is rare for me. A mix of styles, mix of vocals - all of them excellent, great production, and well crafted songs. Highly recommended.
