Album Notes

Jessica Meshell is a worship leader from Portland, Oregon. For the last two years she has been at the International House of Prayer in Kansas City, Missouri. She is currently residing on the island of Maui in Hawaii, where she is writing new music for her upcoming album.

BIO
Jessica Meshell is a twenty-four year old worship leader/prophetic singer from Portland, Oregon. She started leading worship for several churches in Oregon when she was sixteen, and released her first worship CD in 2005.

Jessica started singing and writing music at very young age. At the age of thirteen she recorded her first demo of original Christian music after winning a singing competition in Washington.

At the age of fifteen she enrolled in Beaverton Arts & Communication Magnet Academy where she studied music & was the lead singer for the bands Kurbside & Vantage Point. In 2001, The Jessica Meshell Band was formed and they traveled throughout Oregon & Washington for a year and a half. In 2003 they recorded an original album titled First Love.

2003 was a very eventful year for Jessica Meshell. In April, she was chosen as a Portland Finalist in the Teen Scene Talent Competition. She then competed against 11 other singers and won the grand prize which included $3,000 in prizes and studio time at Rumblefish Studio.

In September, Jessica entered the Christian Music Talent Search at Festival Con Dios in Salem, Oregon. She performed before a panel of judges and was chosen as the grand prize winner. That evening she performed on the main stage in a lineup that included Kutless, Sanctus Real, Plus One & Newsboys.

In March of 2004 Jessica traveled to Nashville, Tennessee. For two months Jessica sang and promoted her album. Her performances include the Texas Troubadour Theatre which is also the home if the Ernest Tubb Museum and Nashville Cowboy Church.

Jessica was asked to sing for two live radio broadcasts of Nashville Cowboy Church which has an international audience of over 12 million listeners. She also performed at Rocketown in downtown Nashville where she was joined by Brandon Steen on guitar and background vocals. Other venues include the Bluebird Café, the 23rd Psalm Café, SIR Entertainment, and the Nashville Songwriters Night at the Preston.

In 2005 Jessica released her first Worship album, and in 2006 she moved to Kansas City, Missouri where she joined staff as a singer/worship leader at the International House of Prayer.

In November 2008 Jessica was asked to lead worship at the World Prayer Conference in Seoul Korea, as well as the Worship and Prayer Conference in Buson, Korea. In February of 2009 she was invited to the Garment District in Los Angeles California where she lead worship at the Tent of Meeting House of Prayer.
