Malachi… The Messenger… rough yet smooth… a deep soul with a voice to conquer the Hip-Hop world from all directions.
Messenger, a Maryland youth who grew up with a very spiritual background, documents street life, love life, club life, spiritual life, life itself. All of this in mind, with so much in his heart and on his mind, he brought his lyric books to RockStone Music and Wolfpak Productions and put together “The Arrival”.
Heavy tracks laid down by 88 Keyz (and also Eternal and Wiz) gives Messenger the necessary fuel to light up his own brand of fire, too hot to miss as you play tunes like the gritty “Shell Shocked”, the lively “Incredible Hulk (Let It Burn)” with the one and only Symantyx, the club hit “East Coast, West Coast” -- featuring an artist called Saber, who passed away after the song was done – and songs for those who call upon a higher power such as “Heaven Or Hell (In This Afterlife)” and “Dear God (Save Me)”.
11 tracks deep, “The Arrival” is the sureshot for those who haven’t had a straight-up Hip-Hop headbanger in ages. Let the Messenger bring it back to basics for those who know how to roll.
