Dr. Nabil Azzam, conductor and music director is also a composer, violin and oud virtuoso. He established this orchestra in 2000 and has scored a lot of success since then. MESTO repertoire includes ethnic and original musical compositions from many cultures such as Arabic, Turkish, Greek, Bulgarian, Romanian, American, Sephardic, Azerbaijani, Iranian and Taiwanese.
MESTO released its first CD "The Crescent" in 2005 and is looking forward to recording the next one later this year.
