"...this weighty comp is an interesting survey of the site's vision."
Brave Words & Bloody Knuckles, Canada:

One of the net's most respected metal sites chimes in with a massive 16 track sampler that reflects ably the site's hard power metal-to-thrash leaning, otherwise known I guess as '80s speed metal if I may be so hazy with my power chord paintbrush. All sorts of rarities and unsigned material is on offer from all over America, Scandinavia, even Russia (Rest In Pain - bizarre prog death) and Chile (Fahrenheit - well-recorded heavy hair metal). Destined to be one of those comps with all sorts of tracks (or versions) that never make it to proper release, this weighty comp is an interesting survey of the site's vision, with half the material working effortlessly as metal worth listening to for headbanged pleasure, rather than mere curio factor. Note: even though there are helpful but brief liner notes enclosed, the comp comes to life with the extensive background info provided o'er at the site.
