Take a slice of Punk attitude over an Indie/Rock sound, throw in Funk, Blues and Jazz influences and you get music with soul, meaning and enough originality to satisfy the audience of any genre. metheus Bound is just that and so much more, weaving between straight-ahead storytelling and enigmatic lyrics that grip audiences with depth and insight. This is no candy-pop love song machine. It’s universal appeal to anyone who simply likes good music.
Their debut release, “Stirring the Insides”, is a testament to this perspective. With songs ranging from the Jeff Buckley/Incubus inspired “What’s Been Done”, to the completely original texture of “Capture”, to the Reggae driven “All in You”, this group displays keen commercial sensibilities mixed with a need to say something relevant in a world of fabricated personas and factory line pop hooks.
As a live act they floor audiences with high energy rock-outs, moments of stark intimacy and on-stage theatrics. Lead by frontman James Everett, many have been reduced to tears, fits of laughter and moments of joy whilst this four-man powerhouse pours their all in to every single note, sporting wit and candour to bridge the musical gaps.
While as a group they are fresh in their destined-to-be long run in the music industry, this is a band of seasoned performers and award-winning musicians performing a show that is not to be missed. They’ve got something to say and the only thing that awaits is the proper stage from which to say it.

Refreshing and Joyful...
author: Jelena Ristic
Love this CD. I have a smile on my face listening to each song. James' vocals are, rich, warm, intimate, and versatile. The songs are light and easy, while the lyrics are introspective and thought provoking. Rare and refreshing these days!
