ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The result of two years work resulted in Metro-14's first album Where The Lights Die. The band presented the track You to the ZIRZAMIN Music Award 2010 and was able to secure the first prize. The album Where The Lights Die is an experimental project focused on melting different styles, including Iranian traditional elements, through a well-thought study in its creation. The focus on emotions in the lyrics and the music makes it a pleasant experience to the ears.

It was recorded and mixed in Iran and mastered by Universal Mastering Studios.

Very Creative
This emerging band has managed to combine ambient space sounds with alternative elements and Persian traditional instruments like the Tar. They sound very much like Zero 7, but I assure you they are much better. Don't believe me? Preview the songs. I just bought the album an hour ago and I am still listening to it as I am typing this.
