After falling in love with hip-hop music in the late 80's, exploring the world of graffiti art and malt-liquor throughout the 90's, and opting for academics in the new melenium, Mezmer's debut album, Kill the Precedent , is finally here. With a musical background provided by Dopestyle1231's, Tom-C, KtP is a passionate response to the current state of hip-hop, the Union and humanity.
Inspired by artists ranging from KRS-ONE to Ani DiFranco, Mezmer's experience on the microphone is thirteen years in the making. No longer just a battle emcee, his verses and songs attempt to speak to people beyond the realm of hip-hop.
