Album Notes

Mike Hansen Dinwiddie was born in 1968 and grew up in the Lone Star State surrounded by a family with a love for music. He has been inspired by the great outdoors, his friends and family and a love for most genres of music. He began writing music in his teens as a hobby. Once Mike graduated from College, he moved to California for 6 years where he took a break from songwriting. In 2000, he picked up his guitar and with a renewed spirit, moved to Nashville, Tennessee and began writing music again. Last year, Mike moved back to the west coast and now resides in San Diego, CA. He is currently working on new music for a second cd. This debut CD by Mike Hansen contains soulful lyrics accompanied by acoustic music which blurs the lines between Country, Bluegrass, and Folk to produce an original sound like no other. These very personal songs were all inspired by the winding journeys he has been on with his friends and family.
