Album Notes

The Genies are always pushing the envelope in their lyrics and production. Joined by la producers Fat Jack, Allen Pettsinger and Josef Leimberg the saga of the "heartifact" continues. The new album "Cardiac Arrest" is again laced with live horns and instrumentation. The concept album is narrated by, again, The Goddess Nexxus, and Dr. Wesley the Curator. Twenty-two tracks from the MHG's. Dj Drez contributed three rhythms and cutting up the turntables throughout the album. The first single out of the album is "Closer" produced by Mr. Aeks and "Good Look" produced by Dj Drez. Tape Mastah Steph has a handful of rhythms on the album and is a new edition to the MHG's producer roster! This is definantly the next step up for Myka 9, Dj Drez and JtheSarge with their 2nd release on M9 Entertainment!
