Stradding the line between pop and punk, The Miamis lit up New York City with their exuberant songs and high-energy performances. They shared the bill with Blondie, the Ramones, Television, the New York Dolls and even KISS. They were legends at CBGB, Max's Kansas City and throughout the scene.
Now, thanks to recently discovered tapes, everyone can hear what the excitement was all about. This album has all the fun, verve and passion of those golden days in every track. With crackling live performances and slamming studio sessions, here's a true musical treasure: The Miamis!

Finally!

The Miamis are as bright and exuberant and wise as a band can be. Just what the world needs today. I'm so glad I can finally hear The Miamis again (I've been relying on memory for far too long).

They Deliver
author: Meri
This was one of my favorite bands of the '70s, and I am very happy to see that the music has survived. These songs are catchy, clever, charming and funny. The song writing is inspired, the musicianship top notch. NY in the '70s was THE place to be, and the most hip, most rockin' place in town was always where the Miamis were playing. I can't recommend this CD highly enough- don't miss it!!
