Album Notes

Michael B. Serious has been a open mic host and participant for many years in Sonoma County Ca. His personality is magnetic and caustic and friendly and edgy. A veteran of the 60's San Francisco bay area music scene playing and writing with Vanguard recording band "Notes from the Underground" (Fred Sokolov and Michael Mandell) . A cut from which was included on the Grammy nominated 60's S.F. music scene compilation album, "Love Is But a Song We Sing".
I met Michael several years ago at an open mic and immediately thought his tunes and vocal tone should be captured. The project was begun by Geo Howard, recording Michael playing and singing these tunes. It was graciously passed on to me for editing, additional tracks and production.
