Something's Cooking is the seventh album for three-times Instrumental Golden Guitar winner Michael Fix. This album reveals Michael's growing confidence and self-assurance as one of Australia's finest and most widely respected guitarists.

Michael's musical style continues to evolve, with his compositions becoming more innovative, and his arrangements more inspiring.

In recent years, Michael has been taking his music overseas, finding many new fans and enjoying acclaim in Italy and Germany.

Says Michael of the title track: "You can't visit Italy and not be inspired by the food. I like to think that Something's Cooking captures a sense of anticipation of something joyful and delicious".

Not since Mr Wonglepong (Michael's first Golden Guitar winner in 1999) have we heard such a catchy and joyful instrumental.
