Traditional Christmas songs stir our hearts and memories. The classical guitar and its deep rich sound can warm and soothe the mind and soul. He has taken classic Christmas seasonal carols and tunes and blended them with his baroque classical and flamenco style guitar playing. Michael Griego was born in Los Angeles, California. He studied classical and flamenco guitar under Darryl Denning in the Classical Guitar Program at Occidental College where he received a BA degree in English Literature in 1978. He added an MBA degree from Stanford University in 1982. A true Renaissance man, he has continued to play and advance his craft in public performances over the years while pursuing his varied interests. Michael continues his passion for music and has arranged a variety of classic songs with his unique and exciting blend of classical and flamenco style. We look forward to future releases!
