Michael's original release of the "I Am" album was in the summer of 2009. and it contained two more songs (12), but not the DVD. The two songs are "A Mile Away" and "The Reason;"  the latter is also on the Blue album (I've Got Dreams) but with a slight variation in the lyrics. Both of these songs are AWESOME and it's a shame the re-release didn't keep them. The DVD is certainly a nice addition, though Michael has recorded his original song, "Old Biloxi," nearly as much as he's covered "You Don't Know Me." Still, this is Michael's BEST album ever! His originals are refreshing and will stand the test of time.  "I Am" is one of the best songs MG has ever written (co-written with Kevin Hunter) along with "Old Biloxi" (written by MG alone). The latter two songs will be hits one day soon! Overall, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this CD.

The 2009 version is no longer offered for sale, but occasionally it pops up on eBay or Amazon. If you find it, the 2 extra songs make it worth buying.
