Michael James is a Christian artist based in Northeast Texas who's musical influences include Chris Tomlin, Chris & Conrad and Sanctus Real. His music is an edgy contemporary sound with distinct praise and worship characteristics.

Michael grew up in small town East Texas in a Christian home. He began playing music in church at around eight years old. His dad is the pastor of a Pentecostal Church and is a musician himself. Michael credits both his parents for showing him the love of Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit which would carry him through many trials, temptations and some very dark days in his life. After finding his way back on a prodigal's journey, Michael is now dedicated to spreading the Love of Christ to people of all ages and backgrounds, but especially to young adults who struggle as he has.
