Michael Kay is not your average hip-hop artist. With a career spanning back to 1992, Michael has acquired such a versatile set of skills and unique character that his place in the music and entertainment world is inevitable. Michael has been educated formally in music theory, music technology, music business, performance, and multimedia. Michael's ability to sing, rap, dance, produce, and engineer raises the bar for his counterparts. His amazing story has been captured on a 60 minute DVD documentary entitled Michael Kay: Mastermind of his time. Michael's dedication to his community and the education of young people are at the forefront of his music career activities. He also DJs at Eugene, Oregon's Top 40 radio station, 104.7 KDUK, which continually polishes his abilities to connect with his audience. The new album, Michael Kay: The Balance, is due in stores March 14 2006. The first single from the album entitled "Tonight" featuring Super Producer Bosko is already hitting the airwaves with incredible reception.
