Once again Jaime Michaels gathers the cream of the Santa Fe musical crop, this time with roots rocker Jono Manson in the producer's seat at MedioMedia studio for this follow up to 1999's critically acclaimed "little dreams". Jaime's writing is as imaginative as ever, with songs ranging from the grinding slide guitar propelled commentary on current stress levels, "waiting on the other shoe", to the hope filled title track. In between is, among others, a tribute to a dying street musician, "five pennies", a ghost story, "always never", a swinging blues about love & reincarnation, "where do we go from here", featuring the national steel guitar of blues meister Stefan George and a cover of a tune written by legendary producer (the Band) John Simon, "slim pickin's in the kitchen don't make it at all", recorded with the Santa Fe Chiles Dixieland Jazz Band. Special appearances by Sara K, Jim Almand, Pete Williams, Kevin Trainor, John Egenes, Jon Gagan, Mark Clark, Steve Lindsey, Tom Adler and others.

REVIEWS
"Jaime Michaels' use of language is uncommonly exquisite. His songs and writing have the hand rubbed luster of universally personal feelings. When they touch you, you feel as if you've held them before, then you wonder if you really have"
Fran Gray - Two Louies Magazine - Portland, OR
"Equal parts wit and wisdom...little dreams celebrates little things in a big way."
Neil Fagan - Performing Songwriter Magazine

"...enigmatic lyrics and arrangements much like Daniel Lanois...the genius of this
album lies in its simpleness..."
mish-mash CD review
"Excellent Modern Folk from a road-weary, but still optimistic, professional. Subtleguitar work is just as interesting as the lyrics."
