Album Notes

This CD entitled The Awakening is my first official album project to be released. This is a gospel hiphop album consisting of 18 songs. However, even though this is a rap cd, it is not your traditional "crunk" music with the same simple beats on every song. I have strived to create a sound very unique to anything else that is out in the music industry.

This cd is filled with powerful lyrics, thick production and head-bangin beats. This cd also crosses and mixes rock, funk, rnb, electronic, movie theme music, and instrumental music into the rap sound. This fusion has created a sound that is guaranteed to bring a pleasing sound to the listeners' ears.

I also have many guest appearances on this cd including:
Tyronne, Marco Britton, Karen Richardson, Kyle Lovett, Odell Mitchell III, Kingdom Come Ministries children's choir, Millikin University Advanced Jazz Combo, and much more!

Unlike the majority of gospel rap that is out there, this cd presents a very powerful and convicting message which leads up to a very gut wrenching and climatic ending. You won't be let down folks! This cd ministers just as much as the tracks make you groove to the music!

I created all of the music on the cd, all of the lyrics(unless if stated on the thank you track on the album), produced, mixed and mastered it all myself. It has been a great project and I have enjoyed every minute of it. DreamVizion Productions is the company that produced this cd. Jay and Jay Productions manufactured this cd. I highly suggest them for any artist looking for someone to manufacture their cd's. They are a great company and have a great moral standard behind themselves.
