Awsome Band Album
author: Matt C.
This CD has a sound all its own definately easy to listen to as well as fun. The instruments mesh together well (especially live) and have made me want to dance more than a few times. Live it sounded pretty good at G. st. but sounded even better with that real sound system at UCD Picnic Day. Keep cranking out the music guys. I am sure you guys should be able to find a label that is willing to pick you guys up. I know if I was an exec i would.

Red Jacket - This skillful, catchy pop-rock album is a winner
author: Deborah
A friend from San Francisco turned me on to Red Jacket, and I couldn't be more glad he did.
On first listen, I was impressed by this album's powerful piano and pleasantly catchy melodies. On further review I became aware of Jeff Michael's impressive lyrics which span the clever, insightful, observant, and poignant.
I must give warning, though, that this album has an addictive element. I find myself many mornings waking up with an Even Elroy song in my head and a smile on my face. I can't wait until Even Elroy plans a West Coast tour so that I can see them here in Seattle.

More piano, please!
author: Eric Benz
It's about time a piano rock band came back around to leave off where Ben Folds Five left off. I saw Even Elroy play at San Francisco's Last Day Saloon and the rocked the place til the late hours. When I got home, I had to check out this disc. Though this CD isn't much like a Ben Folds release, the songs on it scream of Billy Joel licks and even a few Elton John melodies. It's great to hear another piano/guitar blended band live again. The CD is a great addition to your collection and seeing the band is a MUST!
