Album Notes

Michael Steven was born 1978 in New York, raised in Texas, and followed his family to California in the summer of 1993. That summer he picked up a job building rocks for an indoor rock climbing company . At the end of the summer the owner gave him an electric guitar. That summer Michael Steven began writing songs and started High School that next fall. During high school and college he wrote songs and played in and out of bands, performing throughout the Bay Area. After moving to San Francisco Michael Steven received a degree in Music Business from San Francisco State University and began managing a local San Francisco rock band. In 2006 they were honored as Live 105's Best Bay Area Band. In 2008 Michael Steven began recording his songs. He invited his friends to play on the record and released it independently in February 2009. Since the release Michael Steven spends most of his time working on music and playing live shows in San Francisco.
