ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Sky with Stars (2000): Produced by Michal Towber and Dave Pirner, frontman of Soul Asylum, the album is 12 tracks, plus a bonus track, the funky “Through Walls.” William Ruhlman, for the All Music Guide describes the album as: “one half pop/rock leaning toward grunge and the other half acoustic music with strong classical leanings.” Highlights include the poppy lead-off track “My Friend”, “Broken Boy,” which was featured on Dawson’s Creek, the Nirvana-esque rocker “Juliet’s Refrain”, the dreamy, electronic “The Light,” and “the Best Way” a beautiful piano number, showcasing Michal’s classical chops and sophisticated lyrics.
