Michele Mele is a jazzvocalist, pianist,composer, offering something different to her audiences. She is a most gifted musician with many influences from Jobim, Pat Metheny Michael Franks and a little Steeley Dan. Growing up in a musical family, she went on to study music at University of Toronto (B.Mus B.Ed) and has devoted her life to composing and teaching music. Michele also loves the flying trapeze and is a competant flyer and aspiring catcher. She lives in the country with her husband and their 4 children.

Great writing...and great playing! This is a relaxed and buoyant as well as a heart-felt musical outing that is filled with generosity of spirit. Michele's music is irrepressibly melodic utilizing harmonies which have unusual twists and turns...but are always...very smooth! Read more...
