Outstanding...

Unbelievable vocal talent, that has the tendancy to have an angry tone, like Alanis Morisette. Yet, at the same time shares some kind of innocence like Mariah Carey and holds the full blast voice of Whitney Houston. That's an amazing voice for a 21 year old. This young talent from Detroit, is also a songwriter. Her lyrics come out beautifully and use the right words for the listener to easily tell what she's talking about - making it obvious but in an artsy way. Not just flat out telling us, but giving us descriptive clues. Her style of music is very unique and that makes the listener want to listen to each song completely instead of skipping around the CD. Each of the songs hold a different genre. Some are rockish with a dash of soul. Some jazzy mixed with rock. Some R&B mixed with rock. It's an incredable sound when you mix all three together - the voice, the lyrics, the genre of music - thus making this a terrific album, which I highly reccomend. I'm sure many others agree with me. This girl has a big career ahead of her - this is only the beginning.

Michele! I heard your cd today, loaned by a friend of a friend... I was very IMPRESSED. Being a musician myself I can truly appreciate all the hard work that must have gone into it. I listened to EVERY song, good songs! sadly...I could'nt hear your vocals over the music. If only we could make a cd, listen to it a hundred times, go back and FIX it, then release it! You are obviosly WAY too talented to be buried in a mix LIKE THAT. It's a shame. but despite the SOUND of your cd, you won over a new fan! you're fantastic!

I was at Chickfest at Memphis Smoke, but had to leave before MW performed. I bought Satin Roses anyway, extremely glad I did. Keep me posted on future gigs. I'm listening to SR right now on my PC at work.
