Michelle Barone is on the path to fulfilling her dream she's had since she was a child. At age six she began singing contemporary music and popular show tunes, working on pitch and range. Even at a young age, she was able to not only appreciate music, but also to identify with the lyrics. Michelle found herself drawn to Pop and R&B for their dynamic infusion of rhythm and lyrics. But don't call her a candy-coated pop singer, capturing her own life experiences, "Believe In Me" is also Michelle's autobiography, illustrating personal chaptersof her life which will resonate with her listeners.

Her Imaginative and heartfelt lyrics have the capacity to reveal both her tragedies and aspirations, and few singers have Michelle's ability to stylistically change their voice to suit each song.

Michelle's strongest influence was her father- His renditions of Broadway show tunes often floated through their home, showing his daughter that she too could have the courage to sing in front of an audience.

Michelle has recently done shows such as, BB. Kings, Opening for NE-YO at the Mid-Hudson Civic Center, and her album release Party at the Chance Theater. She as taken her vocal training and education from Marist College to a new level to create this album. She feels that "this cd is meant for all types of people, it has different songs for different people." She states, "I have many goals, and I'm ready to take on whatever I need to in order to make my dreams become reality."
