ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Springing up out of Nashville, the heart the Country and Christian music industries, grows new talent Michelle Lynn. Weary of the commercialization of both genres, she was able to take what she loved about them both and develop her own style. She pursued the simplicity and beauty of folk-country artists such as Mindy Smith, Patty Griffin and Alison Krauss, as well as the honesty and vulnerability displayed in artists such as Bethany Dillon, Jill Paquette, Bebo Norman and Nickel Creek. The result is that Michelle has cultivated a refreshingly unique sound out of her roots.

With acoustic instrumentation and breathy, yet emotive vocals, her sound is sure to draw you in. Her lyrics are intuitive and insightful, reflecting on her experiences and observations about life. There is a sense of spontaneity and adventure captured in songs such as "All We Have Is Time".

She attends college at Baylor University in Waco, Texas and is in Speech Communication.
