Album Notes

I grew up in Detroit and locked myself in a room until I could sing and play guitar. The Pretenders II cassette was my teacher. I started to write songs while 16 and have never stopped. I have been lucky enough to record CDs with musicians from an array of bands I idolized including the Pretenders, Train, John Mayer, Collective Soul and Sheryl Crow. My rock and roll attitude has often gotten me into trouble, however it's the sincerity in the music that has always saved me. After a nationwide tour with Jason Mraz, I realized there are still great artists out there to discover and learn from. Therefore I continue to strive to write the perfect song that connects with people and deserves the respect of my peers. Let the music do the talking....
